The Airfly AF-301BK series was developed primarily for bicycles. The wide photochromic lenses in all directions provide a stress-free field of vision even when riding in a forward-leaning position, preventing wind from getting caught and obstacles such as flying stones. They react to ultraviolet light such as sunlight and become colored, providing a less dazzling field of vision just like regular sunglasses lenses. On the other hand, they become clear at night when there is no ultraviolet light, making them useful for wind and insect protection when driving at night. The anti-reflective coating (AR coating) on the back of the lens reduces annoying flickering.
